Rivendell Archway
10th Anniversary Celebration
It's been 10 years since the Rivendell Archway was opened in March 2015! Let's gather to celebrate this together. Join us on Sunday 9 March 2025 at Rivendell to celebrate in style.
Location:
Rivendell, Kaitoke Regional Park, at Pฤkuratahi Forks car-park (before the bridge to Rivendell)
Gathering day & time:
Sunday, 9 March 2025, from 11:00am
We start our walk at 11:30am
The (easy) forest walk is about 30 minutes long, and we will arrive in the Rivendell grassy area in time for lunch. If you don't wish to do the walk, you're more than welcome to wait for us at Rivendell instead.
Bring lunch, snack & drinks - sharing is encouraged!
Also bring costumes if you have them – we plan to walk the loop track in costume, and arrive in Rivendell in time for the picnic, and a private tour by a Middle-Earth raconteur. Kathy (from The One Room LOTR Fan Museum) will have a few other costumes available, for a gold coin donation.
